General Policy Statement

It is considered a vital part of this Company’s operational system to ensure good Health and Safety practise and as such it is therefore the Company’s policy for Management and Employees at all levels to do all that is reasonably practicable to attain the highest level of Health and Safety. The aim of this Company is to prevent injury and protect from foreseeable harm those, including the public and sub-contractors, who during the normal course of our business come into contact with the Company, staff and its undertakings.

The Management has a responsibility to: hard hats
              - Provide and maintain a Safe Place and systems of Work, without risk to health and safety
                 as far as is reasonably practicable taking into account any statutory requirements.

              - Ensure that all employees are adequately trained and informed prior to the commencement of  work.

              - Ensure that all procedures/processes, which by their nature involve hazards, are covered by suitable
                risk assessments. Where the findings of the risk assessments are to be updated as necessary under 
                law and the employees informed of their contents.

              - Provide all and any training, information and supervision as deemed necessary to enable employees  hazardous
                to perform their work safely and efficiently.

              - Make available all necessary protective equipment to ensure safe working conditions and to record / 
                supervise its use.

              - Inve stigate all accidents to identify the root cause and to ensure that lessons learned are disseminated and
                incorporated into our standard practice to avoid further accidents of a similar nature.

              - Continually and regularly audit the Health and Safety systems to ensure they continue to work effectively.

Employees and Sub-contractors have a duty to co-operate with the management in the operation of this policy by:
              -
Working safely and efficiently plus not endangering their own or others safety.

              - Use all protective equipment as provided under statutory obligations. foam

              - Report all incidents that have led or may lead to injury or damage.

              - Report all defective equipment and unsafe situations / practices.

              - Adhere to work practice procedures, jointly agreed on their behalf, for securing a safe workplace.

              - Assist in the investigation of accidents with the object of introducing measures to prevent a recurrence.

All allocation of duties for Health & Safety matters and the particular arrangements for the implementation of this policy are as set out within the system manual.
