Statement of further Policies The Company’s quality, Disability Discrimination, Racial & Sexual Equality and Environmental protection policies are applicable to all employees and their activities. Employees are responsible for the quality of their work, which must reflect the intention of these policies. Quality of Service. The Company is committed to the provision of goods and services that are fit for the purpose stated and comply with statutory and safety requirements. Violence & Robbery. Disabilities Discrimination. The Company is fully committed to the elimination of disability discrimination in all its forms by the development of its policies, services and where reasonably practicable the physical layout of the premises to provide ‘Universal Accessibility’ to staff and visitors. Racial and Sexual Equality. The Company fully endorses the principles of Racial and Sexual Equality and ensures that no job applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, sexual orientation, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origins, marital status, disability, or age. This policy refers not only to recruitment, but also to promotion, transfers, training, benefits, facilities and procedures. Environmental Protection. The Company is fully committed to protection of the environment. It will work to limit its impact on the Environment and where possible improve performance to further lessen environmental damage. Smoking in the workplace. It is our policy that all our workplaces are smoke-free and all employees have the right to work in a smoke-free environment. Driving Policy. It is our intention to provide a safe driving environment for all staff who have to undertake driving as part of their normal duties. The Management is ultimately responsible for the effective operation and adherence of these policies, but the Company’s standard operating procedures provide employees with the necessary guidance in the day-to-day running and monitoring of the system. |
